Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of services provided by Fraser Valley Real Estate Photography, a sole proprietorship based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. By booking our services or using our website and delivery platform, you agree to these terms.

Services

We offer the following professional services:

• Real estate photography (interior and exterior)
• Drone and aerial photography
• Video walkthroughs
• Floor plans
• Virtual tours
• A delivery platform that creates a public listing website per property, plus self-serve tools for brochures, feature sheets, and social posts/reels

Booking

Clients may book shoots via our website, by phone, or by message. No deposit is required to book. By submitting a booking, you confirm that you have the authority to grant access to the property at the scheduled time.

Payment

Full payment is required before final delivery. Invoices are emailed after the shoot is completed, and payment is accepted by Interac e-Transfer to [email protected]. Card payment options may be offered in the future.

Final galleries, videos, and marketing assets are released after payment is received.

Turnaround & Revisions

Our standard turnaround times are approximately:

• Photos and floor plans: ~24 hours
• Video: ~48 hours

We include one round of revisions, which are typically incorporated by the next business day. If additional time is ever needed beyond our standard turnaround, we will notify you promptly with a clear expected timeline and the reason.

Editing

Professional editing is included with all shoots. Minor distracting items visible in photos are removed in editing at no extra cost as part of our standard delivery process.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

• 24+ hours’ notice: No charge for cancellation or rescheduling.
• Less than 24 hours’ notice: A $40 fee applies.
• Weather-related rescheduling: No fee. If weather conditions prevent safe or quality drone/exterior work, we will reschedule at no cost.
• Return visits: If a return visit is needed to complete the shoot (e.g., property was not prepared or access was not available), a $40 fee applies.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best results, the property should be prepared and clean prior to the scheduled shoot time. Access must be arranged so that our photographer can enter at the scheduled time. We assist on site with lighting and blinds as part of our standard process.

Image Licensing & Usage Rights

Upon full payment, the paying realtor receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the photos and videos to market that specific property. Permitted uses include:

• MLS listings
• Brokerage websites
• Social media
• Print marketing materials

The license belongs only to the realtor who paid for that property and may not be resold or transferred to another realtor. If a property is later relisted by a different realtor, that realtor must contact us to license the existing images.

Intellectual Property

Fraser Valley Real Estate Photography retains copyright and ownership of all images, video, and assets it creates. We may use completed work to promote our business, including in our portfolio, website, and social media channels.

Limitations & Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is.” While we strive for the highest quality, we do not guarantee any specific sale outcome or marketing result. Weather, lighting conditions, and property-access factors may affect scheduling, exterior photography, and drone work. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific shoot in question.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
